Turn off vehicle and disconnect the
negative terminal from the battery.
Remove the socket from the assembly
by turning the socket counterclockwise
until the tabs on the socket align
with the slots on the assembly.
Remove the bulb

Cross the safety chains under the
tongue of the trailer so that the tongue
will not drop to the road if it becomes
