1. Remove the rear wheel & tire.
Tightening torque: 88.3 ~ 107.9N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0kgf.m, 65.1 ~ 79.6lb-ft)
CAUTION
Be careful not to damage to the hub bolts

1. Spot weld finish
Use a disk grinder or similar tool to finish spot weld
mark. Do not grind more than is necessary to smooth
surface.
2. Panel preparation
Repair any bent or uneven areas with a hammer to
improve the assembly process.

A: Check Blind-Spot Safety system
When Safe Exit Warning is not working
properly, the warning message will
appear on the cluster, and the master
warning light ( ) will appear on
the cluster.
Have Safe Exit Warning inspected by
an authorized Kia dealer.
