Smart key system defects can be quickly diagnosed with the GDS. GDS operates
actuator quickly to monitor,
input/output value and self diagnosis.

There are five primary symbols used to complement illustrations. These
symbols indicate the part to apply such
materials during service.
Do not reuse the part. Replace a new one.
Apply engine oil or transmission oil to the part.
Apply automatic transmission fluid (ATT) to the
part.
If the battery has been discharged or
disconnected, or if the related fuse has
been replaced or disconnected, for the
power liftgate to operate normally, reset
the power liftgate as follow:
Make sure the gear is shifted to P
(Park) position.
Press and hold the Power liftgate
open/close
