Repair procedures

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. Remove the center fascia panel.

(Refer to BE - "Audio")

3. Remove the heater and Ð/Ð¡ controller (A) after disconnecting the connector (B).

NOTE

NOTE

Take care not to damage the hook when removing the heater and Ð/Ð¡ controller.

Installation

1. Install the heater and Ð/Ð¡ controller.

2. Install the center fascia panel.

Inspection

1. The rear glass defogger switch inputs can be checked using the GDS.

2. To check the input value of rear glass defogger switch, select option "BCM".

3. Select option "Current Data".

Checking the coolant level

The high-pressure cooling system has a reservoir filled with year round antifreeze coolant. The reservoir is filled at the factory. Check the antifreeze protection and coolant level at least once a year, at the beginning of the winter season, and before traveling to a colder climate. CAUTI
