1. Check the connecting rod end play.
Using a feeler gauge, measure the end play while moving the connecting rod back
and forth.
End play:
Standard : 0.10 ~ 0.25mm (0.0039 ~ 0.0

If the battery has been discharged or
disconnected, or if the related fuse has
been replaced or disconnected, for the
power liftgate to operate normally, reset
the power liftgate as follow:
Make sure the gear is shifted to P
(Park) position.
Press and hold the Power liftgate
open/close
Measuring dimensions before welding
When assembling a new part, assemble it according to the body dimensions
given in Section 31, and start welding
after checking the gaps with nearby parts.
