Smart Cruise Control operation
Operating conditions
Smart Cruise Control will operate when
the following conditions are satisfied.
Basic function
The gear is in D (Drive)
The driver's door is closed
EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) is not
applied
Your vehicle speed is within the operating
speed range
When
Automatic-Dimming Night Vision
Safety (NVS) Mirror (if
equipped)
The NVS Mirror automatically reduces
glare by monitoring light levels in the
front and the rear of the vehicle. Any
objects that obstructs the light sensor
will degrade the automatic dimming
control feature.
